Day 1

Vredendal

You will be collected from your hotel for your scheduled West Coast flower tour. The West Coast National Park will be the first point to visit to view the wild flowers. Postberg, a separate section within the national park, is a unique area, running next to the Atlantic Ocean. You could see some antelope and zebra browsing in the fields, making for a great backdrop when taking photographs. The Langebaan Lagoon is the focal point of the national park. There are salt marshes that offer a seasonal home to migrant waders from the northern hemisphere, pristine golden beaches and sheltered islands that offer protection and a home to many seabirds.

During the course of the afternoon your journey continues north, via Piketberg to Vredendal
