SOUTH AFRICA IS EBOLA FREE!

All points of entry to South Africa have thermal scanners to detect travellers with raised temperatures. These travellers, when identified, will be subjected to medical assessments. Surveillance activities are extremely effective.

South Africa’s Health Minister, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, announced a travel ban on all non-residents from the three high risk countries in September 2014.
High risk countries for Ebola are Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The only way to get the disease is to touch a sick person’s blood, sweat, urine, semen or vomit
