Lost City and Sun City, North West

Although the Sandton Sun will be closing for a complete refurbishment, they still made this list of affluent accommodation. Renovation of bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors will take place from 5 February 2015 and the hotel will re-open in September 2015. The Sandton Sun looked great before, and we can’t wait to see what it looks like after a fresh coat of paint.

The ever-popular San Deck and Restaurant, with it's superb dining and breathtaking views of the Sandton skyline is located on the 6th Level of Sandton City and will remain open for lunch and dinner.  The luxurious Sandton Sun Spa will also stay open over this period.

Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel, Cape Town
